Background
My passion to pursue art as more than just a hobby happened in high school. After seeing the works of artist M.C. Escher and Salvador Dali, I knew I wanted to use my talent to create similar fine art reproductions.

Like most artist, I began in pencil drawings then I moved to pen and inks. It wasn't until late in my life that I began working in oils. Today, I work in all three in my fine art and commission artwork.

I seem to be an artist that is all over the place, and even though my paintings reflect an abstract tone, I create from my passions and incorporate them into my paintings, pencil drawings, and illustrations. In life, fishing is a big joy of mine, so I create many different styles of art in numerous species of fish.

Patrick Carter is an artist and designer in southwest Georgia. He works in multiple areas of art with his primary focus being painting. His work has been displayed in various places in the southeast while gaining a few ribbons along the way. Today, Patrick serves his clients as a Graphic Designer and is commissioned for illustrations and oil paintings.
